Leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, people management and troubleshooting for engineering projects. Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost.

- Solves complex problems

- Performs engineering design evaluations and works to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints.
- Reviews industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Reviews reports of production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine or address problems.
- Provides technical support for the engineering process.
- Designs, implements, and communicates an operational plan for completing the project. Monitors progress and performance against the project plan.
- Takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
- Identifies, develops, and gathers resources necessary to complete the project.
- Prepares engineering designs and work specifications.
- Develops project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
- Selects materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors.
- Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5‑7 years' experience
- Discipline/Major: Engineering degree required
- Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge, skills & abilities: Oral and written communication skills, analytical thinking, design review, project engineering, resource planning, technical project management, Computer‑Aided Engineering (CAE) software, project management software
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
- Work primarily in a climate‑controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
Up to 25% travel likely.
