Finance Coordinator

The Finance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring finance transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner and in compliance with all applicable institutional, UNL, State, and Federal regulations, policies, and guidelines.

The Finance Coordinator will:

* Review purchases, standard contracts, individual journal entries and internal charges, batch journal entries and internal charges.

* Processes checks in Quick Books.

* Provide guidance for purchases, provide financial review and approval of travel expenses and basic funds management.

* Work closely with SOFS groups and employees, as well as functional office staff, providing a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.

* Hire, train, and lead student workers supporting the SOFS office.

This position functions under general supervision and is expected to utilize technology to provide professional services.
