Key Responsibilities:
This role focuses on financial reporting accuracy while expanding into financial analysis and business insights.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting and analysis
- Review financial results and perform variance analysis against budgets and prior periods
- Support preparation of internal financial reporting packages for leadership
- Work closely with accounting during month-end and quarter-end close
- Analyze operational results to identify financial trends and performance drivers
- Support internal financial reviews and documentation processes
- Collaborate with operations and leadership to understand business activity
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions
Qualifications:
This position is well suited for professionals with backgrounds in public accounting audit or financial reporting.
- 35+ years of experience in public accounting audit or corporate accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statements
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate financial insights to non-finance partners
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms is helpful but not required.
