Summary of the Job:
The Sr. Financial Advisor is accountable for advising affluent clients through multiple delivery channels of investment management, fiduciary advice, specialized asset management, full‑service financial planning, and business succession planning.
- Serve as an advisor to affluent clients with sophisticated investment needs.
- Meet regularly with clients to assess their financial situation, determine investment objectives, and evaluate risk tolerance.
- Develop networks with third‑party referral sources to generate new business.
- Partner with internal bank specialists to provide a full array of expertise to clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the investment or financial services industry.
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations (or Series 63 & 65).
- State Life, Accident & Health and Variable Contract insurance licenses.
- Previous successful business development activities and effective relationship‑management experience.
- Proven track record of originating new business, transitioning existing client books, and growing revenue through targeted prospecting and relationship management.
- Proven sales skills, preferably within the investment industry.
- Ability to provide basic investment advice and guidance to customers while adhering to all fiduciary standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively within a team environment.
- Strong knowledge of the finance industry and the local, state, national, and global economy.
- Acute listening skills to identify customer needs and deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Confidence in communicating with customers and prospects, demonstrating poise during discussions.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, including presentations and recommendations.
- Commitment to delivering a customer experience that is helpful, easy, and personal.
- Flexibility to accommodate client meetings outside normal business hours.
- Unrestricted work authorization and no future sponsorship required.
