Job Overview
Client Relationship Consultant – build relationships with customers, provide counsel across multiple channels, and maintain a digital‑first mindset.
Responsibilities- Build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach, follow‑up, and personalized service.
- Obtain and process customer and account information, providing the best possible counsel.
- Demonstrate and educate clients on deposit and loan products and services, recommending solutions that align with their goals.
- Maintain a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products, including digital offerings.
- Provide consistent, optimal client experience—greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
- Collaborate with branch team members and partners to best serve clients.
- Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
- Educate clients on emerging and self‑service digital products to meet their financial needs.
- Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize client experience and deliver operational excellence.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Typically 4‑5 years of retail banking experience or a combination of experience and training.
- Proven ability to build and foster relationships through proactive outreach and follow‑up.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage clients effectively.
- Thorough knowledge of bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of retail products and services.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in participating in sales campaigns or promotions.
- Proficiency with digital products and self‑service technologies.
- Ability to identify a customer’s true needs using a digital‑first mindset.
- Advanced skill in making appropriate recommendations for both reactive and proactive needs.
- Experience in the financial services industry (preferred).
Position requires registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation
Z. Candidates must pass a criminal background and credit check. Failure to maintain satisfactory NMLS registration may result in rescission of an offer or termination.
Pay Range: $21.94–26.82 per hour (may vary by location). Additional incentives, recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and pension options may be available as eligible.
