As this portfolio has grown and Nelnet has begun offering the investment credit opportunity to third parties, the business requires an individual to assist with investment management and portfolio administration. Each investment has unique characteristics and intricacies in terms of value maximization and risk mitigation. This position will be integral in ensuring the investment performs as projected, we maintain strong working relationships with our development partners and provide best-in-class service to our co-investors, while managing compliance with federal income tax regulations.
In addition, other responsibilities include participation in diligence prior to investment, financial modeling, internal and external reporting, and interaction with investors and sponsors.
Pay Range for this position is--$50k- $65k This position offers a hybrid work option. Nelnet values flexibility and understands the importance of work-life integration. Our hybrid work environment allows associates living within 30 miles of an office location to work remotely for part of the week, while also fostering collaboration and team connection through in-office presence three days per week. Please note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree required in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
EXPERIENCEEXPERIENCE: 1-2 years of experience in project finance, underwriting, or asset management preferred.
