We are seeking an experienced Director of Financial Planning to lead the next chapter of our planning platform. This is a high-impact opportunity for a strategic, technically strong leader who wants the autonomy to shape how financial planning is delivered across a growing wealth management firm.
You will not be stepping into a narrowly defined role or inheriting a fixed process. You will help define the standards, systems, tools, and team structure that will support Bellwether Wealth as we continue to grow.
The OpportunityAs Director of Financial Planning, you will serve as Bellwether Wealth’s senior planning authority and a key member of our leadership team.
You will work directly with sophisticated clients and their families, partner with experienced advisors and investment professionals, and collaborate with CPAs, attorneys, and other outside specialists. Your work will influence both individual client outcomes and the future operating model of the firm.

We are looking for someone who can combine deep technical expertise with sound judgment, executive presence, and the ability to turn complexity into clarity.
Key Responsibilities Lead and Define Our Planning Platform- * Own and continually improve Bellwether Wealth’s financial planning methodology and client experience.
- * Establish consistent planning standards, workflows, templates, and best practices across the firm.
- * Define what a comprehensive Bellwether financial plan should include and how its value should be delivered.
- * Ensure planning engagements lead to clear, prioritized, and actionable recommendations.
- * Create processes for identifying, prioritizing, tracking, and completing planning opportunities.
- * Identify ways to deepen planning relationships with existing clients.
- * Evaluate technology, automation, and reporting tools that can improve quality, efficiency, and scale.
- * Establish meaningful measures for the quality, effectiveness, and impact of the firm’s planning work.
You will work alongside our advisors on complex client situations and participate directly in client meetings when your expertise can add the greatest value.

Our clients often face decisions involving significant wealth, business ownership, family dynamics, tax exposure, liquidity needs, and long-term legacy goals. You will help bring those issues together into coordinated strategies clients can understand and act upon.
