Commercial Loan Assistant

Description: NEDCO, a non-traditional, commercial lender, is looking for a Commercial Loan Assistant to join our team.

This position will be responsible for assisting the Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager in managing NEDCO’s commercial loan portfolio.

• Loan onboarding and entry of data into loan software
• Document review for regulatory compliance
• Performing account maintenance related to financial, insurance, real estate taxes, and payoffs
• Collection of servicing documents from other lenders, borrowers, and insurance agents
• Assist with the imaging of documents
• Communication with lenders and borrowers relating to loan status and servicing

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other related field is preferred
• Previous work experience in a law firm, bank, or insurance industry is preferred
• Demonstrate proficiency in learning and using computer software
• Strong organizational skills relating to management of electronic data and physical documents
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures
