Pay range is $54.484 - $84.449 per hour. The pay rate may be commensurate with education and/or experience within fiscal constraints if approved.

JOB DUTIESAs NDOT’s Right of Way Manager, you will:

Provide leadership, management, and direction to the managers, supervisors, and staff of the Right of Way Division.

Serve on NDOT's executive team.

Lead and manage division programs including developing and recommending policies for the appraisal and acquisition of right-of-way for highway construction projects.

Represent and be the advocate for the Right of Way Division when communicating, collaborating, coordinating, and cooperating with all other NDOT Division Heads and District Engineers.

Administer final review, approval, and verification of appraisals so that just compensation is being offered for all real property acquisitions and ensuring such offers conform to Federal and State laws, rules, regulations, and agency policy and standards.

Govern and authorize that an offer is made in good faith and control final administrative settlement amounts for all acquisitions.

Direct and confirm the appropriate amount of property is acquired to construct, operate, and maintain the highway system.

Utilize professional judgment and principles to direct and lead property acquisition and property management processes.

Provide the overall leadership, direction, and technical knowledge of the Alternative Delivery processes as it relates to property acquisition.

Prepare and manage the Right of Way Division budget.

Collaborate with external stakeholders.

Perform other duties as assigned.
