Medication Aide; CNA Part-Time Days-Tabitha Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

Eventide-Tabitha is currently hiring for a Part-Time Medication Aide (MA40) for a Day shift 6a-6p (12 Hours). This position includes every third weekend and holiday rotation.

Appointment: 12‑hour day shift, Day shift 6a‑6p. The role includes every third weekend and holiday rotation. Requires a valid MA40 and CNA license.

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
• Able to evaluate emergency situations and perform CPR when necessary based on training.

• Provides assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation and continence.
• Assists with senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers and orientation of new employees.
• Follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
• Prioritizes assignments, making adjustments throughout shift to meet frequently changing/overlapping senior/client/caregiver/team member/manager needs and call lights when necessary.
• Performs work duties within the assigned work environment related to the position, as assigned by Tabitha, regardless of team member preference.
• Follows through on the comprehensive care plan/service plan as developed for each individual senior/client.
• Complies with HIPAA regulations regarding privacy by ensuring Protected Health Information (PHI) is safeguarded at all times.
• Additional essential functions while utilizing a MA40:
  • Prepares and administers medications and treatments, under the direction of the RN, within scope of practice as ordered by the physician and according to facility policies/procedures.
  • Evaluates emergency situations, performing CPR when necessary, based on training.

Competitive starting pay range of $19.00-$21.28 per hour for MA's based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available for selected positions and are paid based on employment status and shift worked.
