Description Of WorkThe University of Nebraska Sport Psychology Department is excited to expand service delivery for Husker student-athletes to include a full-time clinic coordinator. This professional will be essential to the coordination of mental health care for Husker student-athletes through evaluation, triage, treatment planning, consultation, and referral procedures ensuring continuity of care and best practices.
This provider will be joining a diverse, holistic, and integrative mental health treatment team focused on providing science-driven psychological interventions to promote the health, wellness, and performance of Husker student-athletes. Must be able to work some evenings and weekends depending on student-athletes’ needs and schedules.

MinimumRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field and at least two years of experience coordinating care in higher education or a medical/mental health setting.
- Experience providing clinic coordination services within a medical, mental health agency, or related field.
- Knowledge of and experience with psychology, mental health issues, and HIPAA policies/guidelines.
- Experience working with various populations.
- Strong understanding and ability to navigate athletic culture is preferred.
- Three years of experience providing clinic coordination services within a medical or mental health agency.
$50,000/yr. minimum
