Job Summary And Responsibilities

As an Independent Mental Health Therapist, you will provide compassionate and effective psychotherapy and counseling services to clients managing mental health challenges.

Every day you will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and maintain clinical documentation while managing your caseload.

• Independently evaluates and/or assesses the bio‑psycho‑social needs of patients, treats mental health disorders by conducting therapy sessions using various modalities such as individual, group, family and/or significant‑other counseling, and provides crisis intervention when needed.
• Develops and maintains a positive professional relationship with clients, peers, coworkers, and community members; maintains therapeutic communication with patients and families; upholds strict standards of ethical behavior and confidentiality; and works effectively in a diverse, multicultural environment.

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Nursing, or a related behavioral health field, upon hire.
• Independent Mental Health Practitioner/Counselor or Social Worker (NE).

• Three years of post‑license experience in a mental health/addiction recovery or related field.
