PT Activities Coordinator

Havelock Manor is a 25-bed Assisted Living Facility in beautiful historic Havelock, right next door to the senior center. We provide care for seniors who need some help with activities of daily living yet want to remain as independent as possible. We also offer respite, hospice care, and adult day services. We pride ourselves in providing a home‑like atmosphere with personalized care.

• Work every other weekend from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and every Monday and Tuesday from 9 am to 5:30 pm.
• Implement activities that support the residents’ quality of life, address their social, physical, spiritual, and mental health, and meet state requirements.
• Facilitate and supervise age-appropriate outings for residents.
• Act as a role model to staff and residents by building meaningful relationships.
• Assist in meal preparation, including operating some kitchen equipment and following simple recipes.
• Photograph and/or Record activities/events.
• Communicate frequently with the department supervisor(s) as it relates to assigned tasks.

• Display enthusiasm and a positive attitude in promoting activities, and in enlisting the support of other staff members.
• Be self-motivated and energetic.
• Be flexible and creative with activities.
• A passion for enriching the lives of others.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work all scheduled shifts.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to play a musical instrument a plus!

Pay Rate: $15-$17.50 per hour, based on experience. Weekend shifts are paid an additional $2 per hour shift differential
