Position: Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse - $2,339 per week

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM

• Weekend and holiday requirements as needed

• No call or standby requirements

• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 (taking 1:6 ratio at least once a week)

• 42-bed medical surgical unit treating medical, surgical, and orthopedic patients

• Charge nurse on each shift who takes patient assignments

• Handle titratable drips including Heparin

• Work with respiratory therapy available 24 hours on the floor

• Telemetry monitoring on floor with centralized telemetry station

• Collaborate with nurse aids/patient care techs with 1:10-12 ratios

• Floating requirements to PCU or Burn units

• Navy blue scrub dress code required

• Must pass open book skills exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score to continue

• First week classroom orientation followed by 2 twelve-hour shifts on the floor

• Must live outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with Common Spirit facilities

• Valid driver's license required at submittal

• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination

• BLS certification required

• Use EPIC charting system

• RTO needed upfront (7 or fewer days per 13-week contract)
