Schedule

Full-Time | 80 hours per pay period

  • Monday through Friday: 4:30 a.m.

    - 1:00 p.m.
  • Every third weekend:
    Saturday: 6:00 a.m.

    - 9:00 a.m.
  • Every third weekend:
    Sunday:
    As needed
Position Summary

The Lab Technician performs a variety of laboratory and phlebotomy functions to support high-quality patient care. This role is responsible for conducting laboratory testing, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Adhere to laboratory standards, policies, and procedures to ensure patient safety and operational excellence.
  • Perform laboratory testing, proficiency testing, and quality control assessments in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment as directed.
  • Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary collection techniques.
  • Accurately process and document specimens and test results.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification upon hire.
  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist, laboratory technician, or equivalent healthcare experience.
Preferred
  • Completion of an approved phlebotomy training program or equivalent education and training.
