We're looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated Patient Care Coordinator to become the first impression of our practice. Responsibilities
  • Register new patients and accurately collect demographic, insurance, and financial information
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using electronic scheduling systems
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, and coverage limitations before treatment
  • Obtain and track prior authorizations, referrals, and precertification's to ensure timely patient care
  • Notify patients of insurance benefits, estimated financial responsibility, and any authorization requirements.
  • Collect copayments, balances, and process patient payments according to office procedures
  • Communicate effectively with therapists regarding scheduling needs and patient concerns
  • Answer multi-line phones and respond promptly to patient inquiries
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of one year of medical front office, medical receptionist, or healthcare administrative experience preferred
  • Experience verifying insurance benefits and obtaining prior authorizations is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
  • Strong computer and data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing priorities
