We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Medication Aide (Nebraska) to join our team at Waterford Communities Assisted Living and Memory Care in Lincoln, Nebraska. As a locally owned and operated assisted living and memory care provider, our team of professionals is committed to using our God-given talents and strengths to serve the needs of our residents.

About the Role:

As a Medication Aide at Waterford Communities, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Administering medications and treatments as directed by a licensed nurse
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes or concerns regarding residents' conditions
  • Providing assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Maintaining accurate records and documenting medication administration
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement personalized care plans
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with medication administration and management
  • Monitor and report any changes or concerns regarding residents' conditions
  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding and ambulation
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Certified Medication Aide (CMA) or equivalent certification required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
