Evening Concierge Lounge Attendant Part‑Time
Create memorable experiences for our guests as an Evening Concierge Lounge Attendant at the Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel. What you will be doing- Monitor club lounge for seating availability, service, safety, cleanliness, and guest well‑being.
- Act as an ambassador of the Hotel by providing special assistance and information about local attractions, offering a wide selection of alternatives for guest satisfaction.
- Use a clear, understandable speaking voice; exercise judgment and respond accurately to inquiries about outlet hours, directions, meeting rooms, car rentals, and airline shuttle service.
- Gather, summarize, and provide information to guests about the property and surrounding amenities, including special events and activities.
- Facilitate all transactions to ensure a positive guest experience; greet and welcome all guests. Maintain stock, cut, properly store, and label all snacks, fresh fruit, and garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.
- Maintain glassware inventory and cleanliness, including shining glassware. Adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations regarding serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
- Ability to work a varied schedule to include evenings, weekends, holidays, Husker Game Days, and work under pressure.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active Lancaster County Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service Training Certification, plus any additional training or certifications required by Marcus Hotels & Resorts, Marriott, and Lancaster County.
- Ability to effectively deal with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner, listening to the nature of the concern, demonstrating empathy, and providing proactive solutions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior hospitality experience preferred.
- Detail‑oriented, able to multi‑task, produce high‑quality and accurate work, and show professionalism in all facets of the workplace.
- Represent the company in a professional, well‑groomed, and courteous manner at all times. Excellent conversation, etiquette, interpersonal, listening, and communication skills, including ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
