As a Breakfast Attendant, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and satisfying morning experience for our guests. This hourly, part-time position is responsible for setting up and maintaining the breakfast area, preparing and cooking breakfast items in line with Hyatt brand standards, and ensuring a clean, safe, and well-stocked environment. You will interact directly with guests, providing friendly and efficient service, responding to requests, and helping to ensure each guest starts their day on a positive note.

This role requires a valid Food Handlers Permit and a strong focus on cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.

• Set up the breakfast area each day according to Hyatt brand standards, including arranging food, beverages, utensils, and supplies
• Prepare and cook breakfast items safely and consistently, following established recipes and food safety guidelines
• Monitor food levels, restock items, and ensure an attractive and appetizing presentation throughout breakfast service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, kitchen, and equipment, including regular wiping, sanitizing, and trash removal
• Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures in compliance with health regulations and company policies
• Greet guests warmly, answer questions about menu items, and assist with special requests or dietary needs when possible
• Monitor guest traffic and respond promptly to guest needs to ensure a smooth and enjoyable breakfast experience
• Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing food and supply deliveries as needed
• Break down and clean the breakfast area and equipment at the end of service, properly storing food and supplies
• Report maintenance, safety, or supply issues to the appropriate supervisor in a timely manner

• Valid Food Handlers Permit (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Previous customer service experience, preferably in hospitality, food service, or a similar guest-facing role
• Basic knowledge of safe food handling, preparation, and sanitation practices
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on cleanliness, organization, and consistent food presentation
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English with guests and team members
• Capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderately heavy items for the duration of the shift
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Positive, friendly attitude and a genuine desire to provide excellent guest service
• Ability to follow established procedures, brand standards, and safety guidelines
