At AKRS Equipment, we invest in our people. As a growing, forward‑thinking organization, we're looking for a dedicated Human Resource Intern to join our dynamic HR team. In this role, you'll support key HR functions, partner closely with leaders, and help create a positive employee experience across the organization.
What You'll Do:
- Assists with planning and coordinating recruitment activities.
- Assists with job postings and interview scheduling.
- Assists with sourcing candidates and may participate in interviews.
- Enters and maintains accurate employee data.
- Develops employee benefit communications and materials.
- Participates in planning and executing employee recognition events and appreciation activities.
- Assists with HR related research, presentations, and process improvement projects.
- Participates in additional HR projects based on department needs.
- Maintains confidentiality.
What You Bring:
- Currently pursuing degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong attention to details and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Basic proficiency with MS Office, Teams
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written.)
- Initiative and desire to learn
