Timpte is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our new Lincoln Manufacturing Center location in Lincoln, NE!
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for all day to day human resources support for our Lincoln Manufacturing Center.
Job Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibilities for this position include:
- Serve as primary HR contact and resource for employees and leaders at LMC.
- Partner with LMC leadership and Corporate HR to address employee relations, performance, attendance and workplace concerns.
- Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and employee retention efforts.
- Assist employees with questions related to benefits, payroll, PTO, policies and HR programs.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR processes and documentation are completed timely and accurately.
- Support employee engagement, recognition, communication, and company initiatives at LMC.
- Provide guidance to leaders on the consistent application of company policies and HR practices.
- Assist leaders with employee disciplinary actions and terminations as needed.
- Conduct training sessions on various subject areas:
Supervisor training, Employee orientations, other HR related training. - Partner with Corporate HR on compliance, investigations, organizational changes and other HR initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee experience, and the effectiveness of the LMC workforce.
- Other duties as assigned by management or required by the position.
Desired Skills, Knowledge and
Qualifications:
- Must have Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business or related or 3-5 years progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing environment.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs;
Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. - Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Must have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must have valid driver's license and insurable driving record for occasional travel.
