Position Summary
The Human Resources Assistant provides essential support to the Human Resources team across a wide range of functions, including team member relations, recruitment support, onboarding, communication, events, and record retention. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and team members, helping ensure a welcoming and professional HR environment.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist visitors and team members at the HR office, providing guidance on applications, assessments, and general inquiries.
Maintain front counter, lobby areas, kiosks, and HR office spaces to ensure they are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Perform administrative duties, including maintaining employee records, data entry, preparing reports, and ordering office supplies.
Manage team member and vendor badges, gaming licenses, and renewals.
Support coordination of talent auditions, interviews, and new hire orientation.
Assist with internal communication, including employee portals, hallway postings, and compliance with required federal, state, and local notices.
Reserve training facilities, meeting spaces, and necessary audiovisual equipment.
Assist with engagement, wellness, and retention events.
Promote superior guest service in all interactions with applicants, team members, and guests.
Maintain strict confidentiality in all HR and company matters.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
High school diploma or GED.
Two (2) years of experience as an HR assistant or coordinator.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish required.
Strong guest service and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and decision-making skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Human Capital Management Systems (HCMS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
