Position Summary

The Information Technology Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising Information Technology Technicians at the War Horse Casino Lincoln property. This role oversees property-level IT operations, including hardware, software, and vendor-supported systems, while ensuring timely and effective support for end users. The position establishes and maintains vendor relationships and provides regular reports and updates to War Horse Gaming, LLC IT leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Practice, support, and uphold the Mission, Vision, and Values of War Horse Gaming, LLC

  • Lead, manage, plan, and supervise IT support staff for the Lincoln property

  • Oversee daily IT operations, delegate tasks, resolve escalated issues, and provide subject matter expertise

  • Provide technical support for casino information systems and manage vendor-supported business systems

  • Diagnose and resolve system issues, escalating to senior IT staff as necessary

  • Execute supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws, including training, scheduling, performance evaluation, coaching, and corrective action

  • Document, maintain, and update master desktop procedures for application installations, upgrades, and system images

  • Respond to emergency after-hours calls as required to resolve IT issues

  • Maintain current knowledge of War Horse Casino IT infrastructure and systems

  • Ensure compliance with departmental internal controls, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

  • Collaborate with senior property management to optimize the use of information technology

  • Prepare reports and updates for War Horse Gaming, LLC IT management

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Associate’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • A satisfactory combination of applicable education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements

  • Two (2) years of casino IT operations experience

  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience

  • Experience managing server technologies, networking, low voltage systems, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), IP phone systems, point-of-sale systems, hotel property management systems, in-room technology, casino management systems, and player tracking systems for table games and slots
