Description: Remote. Our client operates an enterprise computing services program that supports mission‑critical systems with an emphasis on performance, scalability, risk management, and quality. The environment is Agile and collaborative, with cross‑functional teams delivering solutions for large‑scale federal stakeholders. Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze user needs to determine functional and non‑functional performance requirements.
  • Develop performance test strategies, plans, and requirements for moderately complex to complex systems.
  • Define problems, constraints, and risks related to system performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Perform functional allocation to identify required performance testing tasks and their interrelationships.
  • Identify and estimate resources required for performance testing activities.
  • Design, execute, and analyze load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.
  • Support test automation efforts for performance and integration testing.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in information systems architecture, networking, telecommunications, and software performance.
  • Support risk management and independent validation and verification activities.
  • Produce clear performance analysis reports, findings, and recommendations.
  • Communicate results effectively to technical teams and government stakeholders.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience Requirements
  • Eight or more years of IT experience with demonstrated expertise in performance and automated testing for enterprise systems.
  • Recognized expertise in performance testing sufficient for qualification as a subject matter expert.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Hands‑on experience with performance and test automation tools including Neo Load, JMeter, and AWS Taurus.
  • Automated testing experience with Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright.
  • Accessibility and quality tooling experience with aXe and pa11y.
  • Programming and scripting experience with Java and JavaScript.
  • API and integration testing experience using Postman in AWS environments and Rest Assured.
  • CI/CD and version control experience using Git Lab.
  • Experience across modern and legacy enterprise technologies.
  • Experience supporting federal or large‑scale enterprise IT programs (preferred).
  • Knowledge of information systems architecture, networking, and communications protocols (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Agile and Dev Sec Ops  software development methodologies (preferred).
  • Experience with modeling, simulation, or lifecycle management concepts (preferred).
  • Prior experience performing or supporting IV&V activities (preferred).

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
