Performance Test Engineer

Avanciers is seeking a highly skilled Performance Test Engineer to join our team for an exciting long-term contract with one of our esteemed clients, based in Lincoln NE
.

As the Lead Performance Test Engineer, you will be the technical authority ensuring our complex software ecosystems are fast, scalable, and resilient. You won’t just find bottlenecks; you’ll lead the strategy to eliminate them.

• Strategic Leadership & Execution: Lead the end-to-end performance engineering lifecycle by designing comprehensive test strategies and executing detailed load, stress, and scalability tests for complex software ecosystems.
• Defect Management & Resolution: Proactively identify, report, and track performance bottlenecks, collaborating closely with development and product teams to ensure all technical defects are resolved and quality standards are exceeded.
• Dev Ops & Automation Integration: Drive technical excellence by developing and enhancing automated testing frameworks within CI/CD/CV pipelines using tools like Postman, Playwright, Selenium, Load Runner, JMeter, or K6.
• Technical Troubleshooting & Data Analysis: Utilize deep-dive diagnostic tools including Fiddler and Wireshark for network analysis, alongside performing rigorous database testing on MS SQL Server and IBM DB2.
