Job DescriptionThe Department of Health and Human Services' Division of Operations is looking for an IT Business Systems Analyst to support N-FOCUS Production Support. Fulfillment of the job duties will play a vital role in helping DHHS fulfill its mission of "Helping People Live Better Lives".
The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services does not sponsor or transfer non-immigrant work visas for these positions.
Examples of WorkWhat you will do as an IT Business Systems Analyst on the N-FOCUS Production Support Team
- Provide over the phone training and information sharing on the use of the N-FOCUS application and the Access Nebraska/iServe Portal.
- Answer user N-FOCUS questions in a timely and thorough manner.
- Research appropriate responses to questions.
- Assist callers with implementing work arounds.
- Log and track N-FOCUS incidents.
- Coordinate with team members to document and track identified problems and known solutions.
- Assist customers with accessing and using Access Nebraska/iServe Portal.
- Collaborate with teammates to meet the needs of customers.
- Assist in the development of the online Help documentation for N-FOCUS.
- Rotate coverage of Production Support Email box.
- Rotate coverage for extended Production Support hours.
Minimum Qualifications: Post high school coursework, training, or experience in the analysis of business processes and system requirements, and the creation of business process applications.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to the candidate with current knowledge of the N-FOCUS application and knowledge of DHHS Children and Family Services, Medicaid and/or Economic Assistance.
Other: This position is located at the Nebraska State Office Building in Lincoln. No remote work, and no other office locations available.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities- Knowledge of the NFOCUS application.
- Knowledge of DHHS Programs.
- Knowledge of Access Nebraska/iServe user interface.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
