ERP Support Engineer – Syteline ERP – Omaha, NE – Full Time – Hybrid

Location: Omaha, NE – Hybrid (3 days onsite & 2 days remote)

Job Type: Full Time

Summary of Responsibilities: This position is responsible for providing application maintenance and support for the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The candidate will have knowledge of all aspects of the ERP system and its database schema. Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and deploying system modifications, as well as changes to other applications that integrate with the ERP system. The role requires documentation of requirements, technical specifications, testing, and all required documents to comply with procedures for verified and validated applications.

• Install, configure, and modify parameters of the ERP application software.
• Create and modify forms, stored procedures, database structures, jobs, scripts, reports, vendor supplied utilities, and other solutions to business user needs with application software from third‑party providers, as well as internally developed software.
• Comply with relevant standards and regulations including documentation of requirements, technical documentation, testing, and all required documents for verified and validated applications.
• Assist with the validation of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery parameters of application software from third‑party providers.
• Document developed code and systems, or changes made to software applications from third‑party providers.
• Assist in support and troubleshooting of problems or incidents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Business Analysis Duties:
  Analyze and document user requirements; define scope, assumptions, constraints, risks, and objectives with the business; identify and assist in the resolution of issues, problems, or disruptions; document current or potential impacts to processes, business operations, and the organization; provide direct assistance to users in use and interpretation of the ERP software application; handle phone and email support as directed; attend seminars, conferences, and user groups to learn about upcoming features and develop working relationships with other users of the ERP software.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor or Associate degree in business or computer science, or combination of associate degree and at least 1 year of work experience can substitute.
• Some work experience in business analysis and programming computer software applications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Solid working knowledge of personal computers, database concepts, and networks.
