Data Architect
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the design, creation, management, and deployment of the data architecture for the UNK CRM system. Maintain data quality metrics, and provide information and expertise needed for the ongoing management of data repository and business intelligence systems. Focus on business intelligence processes, data integration strategy, and data integrity. Manage People Soft Security Coordinator roles and access control.
This position will uphold the ITS core principles of outstanding collaboration and communication, a drive to succeed, a passion for higher learning, and acting with integrity.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Three years Information Systems Experience. Solid understanding of data systems, including data relationships and data modeling. Excellent written/verbal communications and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team oriented involvement. Experience troubleshooting and supporting data reporting systems. Experience with Business Intelligence projects and applications. Equivalent combination of education and experience, that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge of WebFOCUS or ability to write queries and read stored procedures. Experience with ETL software. Experience in a data integration environment. Experience supporting an administrative functional unit. Experience with Oracle database.
