- Associate’s degree, Paralegal Certificate, or bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies preferred
- 3+ years of legal support or paralegal experience preferred
- Experience assisting across multiple legal practice areas highly valued
- Strong computer skills including Google/Gmail, Adobe, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain accurate files and manage multiple deadlines
- Strong attention to detail with proofreading and document review experience
This is a Legal Assistant role supporting a respected and established Lincoln-based law office known for its professional environment, strong client focus, and collaborative team approach. In this position, you will play a key role in keeping legal matters moving efficiently while supporting attorneys across a variety of legal practice areas.
You will prepare legal correspondence and documentation, assist with litigation support, maintain organized files, and help ensure accuracy and timeliness across case activities. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing high-quality work while maintaining a positive, team-first attitude.
Responsibilities:- Prepare correspondence, memos, and legal documents for internal and external filing
- Conduct basic research, filing, mailings, and file management
- Assist with litigation documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and case management
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings
- Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with wills, trusts, and probate documentation
- Maintain organized and up-to-date document management systems

The base pay for this position is $25.00–$28.00 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Final compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Please note that hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow for future growth.
