Job Responsibilities- Load all necessary supplies needed for the daily pickups.
- Complete the daily pick‑up schedule in a timely manner.
- Deliver all daily picks to the branch at the end of the shift.
- Handle all specimens and lab samples in a safe and efficient manner.
- Safely operate the company vehicle and obey all traffic laws.
- Utilize handheld electronic devices to manage daily pickups.
- Work directly with the dispatcher for additional pick‑ups as needed.
- Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed.
- Current or prior Labcorp experience.
- 2 or more years of professional courier or route‑based delivery experience within a medical or laboratory company.
- 1 or more year of experience handling medical specimens or supporting hospital/laboratory operations.
- 2 or more years of experience using handheld delivery‑management devices or route optimization tools (e.g., scanners, GPS‑based routing software, dispatch applications).
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Excellent time‑management skills and punctuality.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Customer service experience.
- Problem‑solving ability for customer issues.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
- Provided company vehicle for route; optional personal use for $125/month.
