Procurement Officer

Job Description

A growing, multi-location organization is seeking a Procurement Officer to support and enhance procurement operations across the business. This role will focus on strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, process improvement, and successful product and service rollouts.

• Manage all procurement activities including sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, purchasing, and product/service rollouts
• Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with vendors
• Monitor vendor performance and identify potential risks and opportunities
• Partner with Accounts Payable to resolve purchasing and payment issues
• Help develop purchasing approval workflows, reporting, and KPIs
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement systems and processes
• Collaborate across departments on strategic initiatives and change management

• 2+ years of procurement experience
• Experience with vendor sourcing, negotiations, and procurement processes
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work onsite in Lincoln, NE
