Description Of WorkThe Director of the Center for Sales Excellence provides leadership and administrative oversight for the Center. The Director will oversee curriculum that is intended to provide rigorous and relevant sales education to undergraduate students, graduate students, and working professionals. This position will foster connections with alumni and local business professionals to create mentoring and coaching opportunities for students. They will also partner with local, regional, and national companies to hire trained sales graduates, support faculty around research and provide experiential learning opportunities for students.
Overall, the Director supports sales education, engagement with industry partners, and strategic initiatives aligned with the mission and goals of the College of Business.
Expected 1.0 FTE appointment split as .40 Director (administration) and .60 Faculty.

MinimumRequired Qualifications
- Master’s or terminal degree or appropriate academic credentials in a relevant field.
- Current faculty appointment at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with sales education or professional sales programs.
- Experience in sales in business, government, or nonprofit enterprises.
- Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating an academic center or program.
- Demonstrated success in industry engagement or partnership development.
- Familiarity with College of Business programs and strategic priorities.
