ABOUT US

As one of Nebraska's leading child-serving organizations, CEDARS helps children and youth achieve safety, stability, and enduring family relationships. We provide programs and services that help kids and families navigate challenges, strengthen connections, and build brighter futures.

Guided by the belief that every child deserves safety, support, and the opportunity to thrive, we work alongside families, foster parents, community partners, and supporters to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and youth.

HELP LEAD OUR NEXT CHAPTER

CEDARS is seeking a mission-driven, culture-focused President to help lead the organization into its next stage of growth and impact. With the anticipated retirement of CEDARS' current CEO, the organization is also beginning to plan thoughtfully for its next generation of executive leadership. The selection of a President represents an important step in that succession planning. This is a valuable leadership opportunity for someone who cares deeply about youth and families, understands that a strong mission requires strong business operations, and is energized by community engagement and collaboration.

As part of CEDARS' succession planning, the individual selected as President is expected to be considered as a potential successor to the CEO upon the current CEO's retirement. Any future appointment to the CEO position will be subject to the determination and approval of CEDARS Board of Directors.

Under the direction of the CEO, the President provides key leadership in shaping organizational direction, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and leading effective operations. Among other responsibilities, she/he will be engaged in strategic planning, enhancing relationships with internal and external constituents
