Deputy Program Manager

Summary:

The Deputy Program Manager is a full-time onsite key leader responsible for oversight of contract operations across the NBC facilities in coordination with the Program Manager. The DPM assumes all Program Manager duties and decision authority during the PM's absence and is accountable for assigned work performed in accordance with contractual requirements, performance requirements, and customer feedback requirements.

• Coordinate with the Program Manager to oversee day-to-day contract operations across all NBC facilities and maintain consistent execution of contractual and performance requirements.
• Assume the Program Manager's duties and decision authority whenever the PM is absent.
• Plan and implement project activities and resources, meet deadlines, and sustain operational agility through changing priorities, workload conditions, and unexpected events.
• Establish performance standards, assign tasks to managers and staff, supervise managers and production personnel, support training and staff development, and track performance.
• Assess contract compliance, review work against organizational objectives, and formulate and implement recovery plans for work alterations, emergencies, program disruptions, production impacts, schedule changes, and unanticipated events.
• Develop complex statistical analyses, cost estimates, and analytical reports for operational and management decision-making.
• Coordinate with Government and contractor representatives, support fact-finding for special projects, respond promptly to Government inquiries, and present oral briefings to USCIS management officials.
• Prepare and revise standard operating procedures and support consistent implementation across the program.
• Identify significant issues, take corrective action on concerns raised by the Program Manager or COR, and recommend improvements to quality, cost, and process efficiency.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and support development of operating procedures, policies, training requirements, quality controls, and corrective actions.

Starting Salary Range for Deputy Program Manager: $140,000 - $170,000
