The purpose of this job is to weld fabricated pipe components; meeting product specifications and quality requirements by applying appropriate welding techniques.

- Mig & Tig welding, preferably AWS certified
- Ability to weld thin wall tube applications
- Experience welding 3 and 4 series stainless steel and carbon steel
- Welding spare parts in various directions: flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead
- Clamping, holding, tack‑welding, heat‑bending, bolting, or grinding spare parts as necessary to satisfy the technical/quality requirements of a welded final product
- Control the processes of fitting, burning and welding to avoid problems in relation to overheat, distortion, expansion or shrinkage of parts
- Examining finished products and spare parts to verify they meet specification requirements
- Being in charge of preparing and setting up necessary tools and equipment to weld
- Work within a team environment and train new welders as needed
- Good mechanical knowledge, ability to read blueprints required
- Could potentially come in contact with hazardous chemicals
- Environmental responsibility commitment to our communities
- Proper disposal of waste such as recyclables, standard waste, hazardous waste, etc. is expected
- Any other tasks as required to fulfill Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers

Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or GED is required.
Minimum of two years related welding experience and/or training.
Preferred: 5 years production welding experience and AWS certification.
Communication Skills- Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
- Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to read and understand work instructions and safety procedures.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
