Job SummaryU-Mix Products Company is looking for a high performing, reliable Individuals to join our team. A production laborer operates production bagging equipment to produce products for U-Mix Products.
Starting wage of $22.00 per hour.

- Abides by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely.
- Sets up, adjusts and operates bagging machines to mix product according to specifications.
- Operation of filling systems to process orders according to department standards.
- Organizes and inventories warehoused goods as needed; maintains an inventory of shrink wrap film and pallets for production.
- Assures safety devices are in proper working order, used and in place.
- Performs job according to safety/environmental rules and regulations.
- Operates a forklift to move product.
- Maintains the plant area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Monitors and operates pertinent equipment for the wrapping of U-Mix concrete products.
- Coordinates storage with plant staff.
- Removes waste material and waste product from plant area.
- Assures product quality by assisting with maintenance and repairs of pertinent equipment.
- Performs daily inspections and reports maintenance that may be required or performs minor repairs.
- Assures plant area is clean.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and
- one year of related experience and/or training; or
- equivalent combination of education and experience. Forklift experience/knowledge is helpful.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to become forklift certified in a reasonable period of time after hire.
- Must have safety awareness and the ability to assure work is performed according to department safety standards.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Must maintain a good attendance record.
Skills and Abilities
- Must have general labor skills.
- Must be self-motivated and able to follow directions.
- General warehousing skills are helpful.
- Ability to follow supervisory directions and operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
