Global Procurement Director -OSAT, Taipei, Taiwan

Job Description Strategic Leadership

• Lead 19 team members including OSAT strategic sourcing, RFQ/SRB etc.
• Develop and implement OSAT global procurement strategy aligned with company goals, technology roadmap, and manufacturing expansion plans.
• Lead long‑range planning and supplier agreements for supply assurance, capacity expansion, and supplier technology readiness on package and test technologies.
• Lead multi‑year, high‑value commercial negotiations with OSAT partners including pricing, master service agreements, capital investment, tooling.
• Ensure supplier compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, sustainability requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Build strategic supplier partnerships and manage executive‑level relationships with strategic OSAT partners.

• Ensure efficient and effective RFQ process within lead time.
• Lead Supplier Review Board to ensure selected suppliers meet company’s strategy.
• Ensure SRB is within lead time to support Product Group to win business.
• Support One Renesas project for successful integration.
• Work with leaders in various functions to support smooth business.

• 15+ years of procurement or supply chain leadership experience in semiconductor manufacturing or related advanced manufacturing sectors.
• Deep knowledge of semiconductor materials, equipment vendors, wafer fabrication processes, and global supply chain dynamics.
• Proven track record of semiconductor supplier negotiation, global sourcing strategy, and capital equipment procurement.
• Experience scaling procurement organizations for rapid fab expansion or high‑volume manufacturing environments.
• Specific industry experience working with a broad range of semiconductor manufacturing partners involved with assembly, test and equipment / tooling suppliers.

• Strong strategic thinking with ability to influence executive leadership decisions.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Financial acumen with understanding of cost modeling and budgeting.
• Ability to manage complex global supplier networks and multicultural teams.
• Proficiency with procurement systems and advanced analytics.
• Fluent in both verbal and written English;
  Japanese skill better.
