Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Lincoln, NE 68502, USA
Duration: 0-8 Months
Shift: 2nd Shift 2:00PM – 11:00PM
Pay Rate: $31.00/Hour
Job Duties / Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate maintenance teams while providing leadership coverage across all departments
- Support production by stepping in for supervisors as needed and managing maintenance projects
- Develop and maintain work plans to improve plant equipment reliability
- Foster a culture of inclusion, continuity, and continuous improvement across departments
- Direct, train, and develop maintenance team members for assigned areas and shifts
- Diagnose maintenance issues using problem-solving and root cause analysis techniques
- Drive efficiency by identifying and resolving equipment and maintenance challenges
- Identify and eliminate cost and waste using LEAN manufacturing principles
- Implement, document, and promote maintenance and reliability best practices
- Ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Education
- High school diploma or GED with related work experience
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in a manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate teams
- Experience working across multiple shifts and departments
- Ability to work any shift based on business needs
- Strong technical aptitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- General computer competency
- Experience using SAP software
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with employees at all organizational levels
