This position will operate in our cold storage warehouse. We will provide the necessary gear for the cold conditions. All shifts are available in our VAS production area.

VAS HOURS (Mon-Fri)

1st Shift - 7:00 am-3:30 pm M-F

2nd shift - 3:30 pm-12:00 am M-F

• Packing and unpacking product
• Loading and unloading cylinders for the HPP machine
• Stacking and building pallets
• Labeling and code dating product

• High school diploma/GED
• Refrigeration, warehouse, production or manufacturing experience
• Ability to perform basic mental math
• Ability to communicate in English (Speak, read, and write)
• Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safety
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Ability to effectively work with others and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a cold/wet environment
• Ability to lift 10-35 lbs repetitively and up to 45 lbs occasionally
• Ability to push/pull up to 250 lbs on rollers occasionally
• Ability to stand for 10-12 hour shifts

This role operates in a cold/wet refrigerated environment (around 34 degrees

F) located within a manufacturing, warehousing, and production type facility. Must be able to withstand cold temperatures for 10-12 hours a day. This is largely a static role with standing; however, the ability to perform repetitive bending and standing up is also required.

Hourly Employees:
Universal Pure facilities may process, pack, and store products containing allergenic food ingredients as referenced by FDA; team members who may come in direct contact must be able to work with these ingredients.

Upon offer of employment, candidates will be asked to complete a drug screening test. The offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of this test.
