This position will operate in our cold storage warehouse. We will provide the necessary gear for the cold conditions. Shifts available: 2nd shift 2:00pm‑10:00pm. Wage Range starts at $17.00 per hour plus a Differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Wage range based on Knowledge,

Responsibilities
  • Follow the operations tasks directed by the supervisor
  • Communicate and execute work assignments to meet set expectations by department and customer requirements
  • Assist all staff and departments such as the supervisors, support staff, leadership, and front-line employees
  • Communicate with internal team to address needs
  • Prepare duty-related paperwork
  • Escalate work-related and interpersonal issues to leadership as needed
  • Perform quality checks and report failures to supervisor
  • Ensure own adherence to Safety and Quality processes and regulations
  • Be a resource for Safety, QA and company processes and procedures
  • Follow health, safety, and cleanliness standards
  • Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality for an hourly role
  • Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Six months material handling equipment/forklift experience preferred
  • Experience using warehouse management and inventory systems preferred
  • Experience with the refrigeration, warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience with computers and Microsoft Office preferred
  • Experience following safety procedures preferred
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes potential overtime, weekends and different work schedules
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English language
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safety
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions
  • This is largely a static role with standing, however, the ability to perform repetitive bending and standing up is also required. This would require lifting 10‑35 lbs. repetitively and up to 45 lbs. occasionally.
  • This role operates in a wet and cold/refrigerated environment (between 38 and ‑20 degrees Fahrenheit) located within a manufacturing, warehousing, and production-type facility. Must be able to withstand cold temperatures for duration of shift.
