Description:
- Assist with aseptic filling, lyophilization, and capping procedures
- Monitor processes and report unusual circumstances/events
- Assist with mechanical set up in an aseptic environment
- Use scientific measuring devices to establish/verify fill volumes and check specific gravity
- Perform routine environmental monitoring; learn/apply USDA and APHIS requirements
- Document processes accurately per SOPs and GMPs
- Hours:
1st shift, 4:00am–12:30pm; overtime/weekends/holidays may be required
- Handle sterile equipment; demonstrate aseptic technique and sterilization principles
- Use fill schedule; basic inventory management; basic RFT methodologies
- Assist with CIP/SIP (as applicable) and SCADA/EWI (as applicable); assist with lab cleaning
- Identify/communicate work order issues; operate fill suites, lyophilizers (Micromax/SCADA), and capping equipment independently
- Perform mechanical set up independently; update batch records/SOPs/JTCs; cross-train; support projects (Safety/RFT/Kaizen)
- Perform basic repairs/maintenance/disassembly/reassembly; identify quality issues
- High school graduate or equivalent; basic mechanical skills
- Demonstrate personal computer usage
- Good communication; read/interpret/apply safety/SOP/maintenance procedures; document accurately
- Basic math (including metric conversions) and ability to use basic weight devices
- Ability to multitask and recognize quality issues; working knowledge of GMPs
- Teamwork/listening skills and positive attitude
Manual dexterity; constant standing; frequent kneeling/crouching/climbing/reaching. Lift up to 50 pounds; flexible hours (weekends/holidays/overtime)
Work Environment:High noise (hearing protection), heavy items (ANSI 75 safety shoes), chemicals (PPE as required), moving mechanical parts (safety shields), extreme temperatures (PPE as required)
