General Summary
With close supervision, the Sheet metal Specialist I fabricates and installs aircraft parts and assemblies in accordance with FAA requirements, GDMR-101, DUN-A-1, and Duncan approved procedures in a safe, clean and organized work area.
Essential Job FunctionsValid driver’s license and acceptable driving records; respirator fit eligible
AttendanceRegularly scheduled attendance required
PhysicalRoutinely lifts 50 lbs.; reads small print; repetitive motion; works with moving parts and vibration; works in confined spaces; works in heights above four feet; tolerates products and materials associated with component maintenance; tolerates standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing and sitting
EnvironmentalTolerates working in extreme temperatures and noisy environments
Education and Experience- High School graduate or equivalent required
- One year previous sheet metal, aircraft structures, fabrication or related experience required
