About the role

As a Manufacturing Technical Operator you’ll be part of the team that keeps our production lines running smoothly and safely. You’ll be hands‑on with equipment, materials, and products every day—setting up machines, monitoring production, fixing small issues when they come up, and ensuring everything meets quality and safety standards. This role is ideal for someone who likes staying active, working with machinery, and taking ownership of their work area.

Responsibilities
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain manufacturing equipment in a cGMP‑regulated environment to produce high‑quality products safely, efficiently, and in compliance with established procedures.
  • Perform material handling, weighing, processing, inspection, and in‑process quality checks while monitoring critical process parameters to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met.
  • Execute equipment setup, cleaning, sanitization, and changeovers to support production schedules and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform basic adjustments and minor repairs, replace worn or malfunctioning components, and escalate complex issues to technical support teams as needed.
  • Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Proactively identify and resolve equipment, material, and supply issues that could impact safety, quality, or production performance.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment and assist with inventory management to ensure materials and supplies are available while minimizing waste and controlling costs.
  • Accurately complete and maintain production batch records, equipment logs, cleaning records, maintenance documentation, and ERP/SAP transactions in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Participate in autonomous maintenance, continuous improvement initiatives, and the development and revision of procedures and work instructions to drive operational excellence.
  • Maintain required training and certifications, communicate production and quality concerns effectively, and ensure timely escalation of issues to leadership when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Take ownership of professional development by building the skills and knowledge needed to independently operate across multiple manufacturing work centers and advance within the Operator Career Path program.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in production, mechanical troubleshooting, or related field.

  • Ability to lift 5–25 lbs. frequently and occasionally lift drums, bags and cases weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to use PPE including bump cap, safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves and N95 or PAPR (all required PPE provided).
  • Team oriented and flexible, able to adapt to changing assignments.
  • Highly motivated and self‑driven with a desire to continuously improve own skill set.
