The purpose of this job is to weld fabricated pipe components; meeting product specifications and quality requirements by applying appropriate welding techniques.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Mig & Tig welding, preferably AWS certified
- Ability to weld thin wall tube applications
- Experience welding 3 and 4 series stainless steel and carbon steel
- Welding spare parts in various directions: flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead, etc.
- Clamping, holding, tack‑welding, heat‑bending, bolting, or grinding spare parts as necessary to satisfy the technical/quality requirements of a welded final product
- Control the processes of fitting, burning and welding to avoid problems in relation to overheat, distortion, expansion or shrink of parts
- Examining finished products and spare parts to verify they meet specification requirements
- Being in charge of preparing and setting up necessary tools and equipment to weld
- Work within a team environment and train new welders as needed
- Good mechanical knowledge. Ability to read blueprints is required
- Could potentially come in contact with hazardous chemicals
- Environmental responsibility is our commitment to our communities
- Proper disposal of waste such as recyclables, standard waste, hazardous waste, etc. is expected
- Any other tasks as required to fulfill Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.
Education and Experience- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
Minimum of two years related welding experience and/or training
Preferred5 years production welding experience and AWS certification
Communication Skills- Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language
- Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to read and understand work instructions and safety procedures
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
- Must be able to perform physical functions equivalent to a high labor intensive Category A
- Tasks may include lifting up to 100 lbs, frequent standing, bending, climbing, operating hand tools, and using personal protective equipment
- Work in environments with exposure to chemicals, hot or cold weather, high humidity, and other environmental hazards
- Training requirements as defined in the Learning Management System based on the role
