Perform Media Preparation functions in ABI manufacturing. Join the Media Prep Team in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Learn and retain information efficiently; use problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and be able to work independently.

2nd Shift, Monday–Friday 2:00pm–10:30pm. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.

• Read and report test results using scientific instruments
• Assemble lab/production equipment
• Sterilize media using heat and filtration methods
• Learn and comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Demonstrate reliability in attendance and punctuality
• Use appropriate PPE (including respirators)
• Complete documentation without errors
• Perform aseptic technique processes in a clean room
• Operate CIP/SIP equipment
• Order raw materials and supplies from warehouse operations
• Dispense and complete production orders using the SAP inventory system

• High school degree or equivalent required
• 2–4 years post-secondary education with biological coursework desirable

• Mechanical aptitude
• Basic Microsoft and computer skills
• Working knowledge of the metric system

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs routinely
• Constant standing
