Quality Assurance Technician

Great Plains Beef—a fast‑growing beef company in Lincoln, Nebraska—is hiring a Quality Assurance Technician to help maintain high production, quality, and yields at its state‑of‑the‑art further processing beef production facility.

Possible duties may include, but are not limited to, HACCP record keeping and compliance, pre‑operation procedures, thermometer calibration, scale verification, production temperature tracking, product audits including weights and pack specs, and updating yield tracking and production reports.

Additional tasks may include supporting the manufacturing process, including moving product from station to station, operating packing machinery, creating and checking labels, and tracking material usage.

Some experience or education in meat fabrication and food safety is preferred. Basic computer skills, high attention to detail, and strong communication skills are needed to be successful in this position. Assume other duties as assigned.

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this position.

Job Type: Full‑time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
