** Monday – Friday, occasional weekend work1st
Shift: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm or upon completion of assigned work2nd Shift 3:30 pm – 12:00 am or upon completion of assigned work
** SUMMARY**: This position is responsible for trimming rejected product before and after going through the x-ray machine to meet the necessary Final Product Standards (FPS) requirements.

* ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*
* * Trim rejected product for FPS compliance
* Follow procedures for salvage and reprocessing
* Capture and record all required data
* Other duties as assigned, inclusive but not limited to trayline traying and debone support as needed.
*
* QUALIFICATIONS:

* * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment safely and efficiently
* Ability to operate safely and effectively
* Ability to work efficiently at a fast pace; while operating a knife
* Required to master knife skills
* Able to discern and pay attention to quality of product
* Must be able to work independently and make decisions
* Willingness to function as part of a team and work toward team goals
* Eagerness to learn new ideas
* Preparedness to assist in other areas of production and work overtime as required
** Education and/or
Experience:

* * High School or equivalent preferred
* 6 months of production experience preferred
** Communication Skills****:*
* * Must be able to communicate effectively
