Job Description

Summary

Perform setup and operation on assigned machines used in the production of the company's product. Work under the technical leadership of a Lead or other more skilled employee. Receive periodic checks of work in process for compliance with job standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Perform semi-routine setups, but complex setups, fixtures and tooling are performed by others.
• Work from process sheets or written/verbal instruction from supervisor to perform production tasks.
• Follow established procedures on routine work, requiring instruction only on new assignments.
• Operate computer console.
• Use simple measurement instruments to check work.

Education and/or

Experience:

High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education including vocational training. Typically requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience. Ability to use mathematics, drawings and measuring tools.
