Role

As Global Brand Activation Director for the Midscale & Economy brands
, you will lead the global brand activation, partnership, and ambassador strategy during the maternity cover period. You will oversee the end-to-end delivery of the brand activation agenda, ensuring seamless execution of global partnerships, ambassador programs, and key campaign activations and events at a global level. Acting as the main liaison between global, regional, and local marketing teams, you will ensure alignment, brand excellence, and measurable business impact.

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution. This role is ideal for a seasoned marketer who thrives in dynamic, international environments, is passionate about building meaningful brand experiences, and has a strong eye for detail.

Role Responsibilities
  • Lead and implement the global brand activation and partnership roadmap for Midscale & Economy brands in 2026, while initiating 2027 planning in line with brand objectives.
  • Manage and oversee existing global partnerships and ambassador relationships, including contracting, activation planning & roll out, rights & relationship management and ongoing performance evaluation.
  • Identify and establish new partnerships - from proposal development and pitching to onboarding and ongoing relationship management.
  • Manage and execute major global brand activations and experiential initiatives, ensuring strong alignment across teams and markets.
  • Coordinate with global, regional, and cross-functional teams, as well as agencies and partners, to ensure seamless and consistent on-brand, on-time delivery and execution.
  • Support the development and rollout of activation toolkits and best practice guidelines.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and materials for internal and senior stakeholder meetings, ensuring clear communication of strategies, plans, and outcomes.
  • Oversee and manage internal activation initiatives designed to engage and onboard internal stakeholders.
  • Manage the global activation and partnership budget effectively
  • Oversee performance reporting, ensuring accurate measurement, insight generation, and ROI tracking.
  • Manage and mentor a junior team member to support key projects and major campaign moments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in brand activation, partnerships, or marketing within an international or multi-brand context.
  • Proven track record in leading global brand activations and partnerships, ideally within consumer, hospitality, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across global and regional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience managing agencies and delivering complex, multi-market campaigns
  • Highly organized, agile, and comfortable managing multiple work streams simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluent in English & French
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for key events and activations.
