OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and results driven Marketing & Growth Manager who can make sure the entire Kansas City market knows who we are. This newly created, full time position will serve as our primary internal marketing role, working directly with ownership to turn creative ideas, smart advertising, and bold campaigns into more racers, repeat visits, group events, and measurable revenue growth.
This is a hands on individual contributor position with no direct reports. The person selected will manage content creation, social media, paid advertising, marketing budgets, email marketing, customer retention, local media, partnerships, community outreach, group event lead generation, and customer communications.
Paid advertising and campaign management will be a major focus of this role. This is not an entry level marketing or social media position. We are seeking an accomplished professional who can demonstrate previous results and take ownership of the marketing function with a high level of independence, professionalism, and accountability.
Duties and Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and growth strategy focused on increasing Arrive & Drive traffic, repeat visits, customer retention, group event bookings, and overall revenue
- Plan, film, edit, and publish engaging social media and advertising content for both locations
- Manage local social media accounts, including content calendars, posting schedules, audience engagement, and performance tracking
- Develop, manage, and continually optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google, Meta, Tik Tok, and other relevant platforms
- Manage the overall marketing budget and recommend how funds should be allocated across digital advertising, local media, partnerships, and traditional marketing opportunities
- Evaluate local advertising opportunities such as billboards, sporting venue signage, sponsor ships, print placements, community events, and other forms of local media
- Communicate with advertising representatives and vendors, review proposals, negotiate pricing when appropriate, and make informed recommendations to ownership
- Develop email marketing campaigns using our existing customer database to promote offers, events, leagues, and other opportunities
- Segment customer data and build targeted or automated campaigns designed to encourage repeat visits and reconnect with inactive customers
- Work closely with the Group Events team to develop corporate outreach campaigns, generate qualified leads, and increase event bookings
- Create sales materials, presentations, promotional content, and other resources that support corporate and group event growth
- Identify and develop relationships with local businesses, schools, community organizations, hotels, attractions, sports organizations, and other potential partners
- Develop promotions and campaigns around holidays, seasonal opportunities, special events, leagues, and slower business periods
- Monitor and respond to messages received through the email account, including general customer inquiries and escalated concerns
- Help manage the company’s online reputation by monitoring and responding to customer reviews, comments, and social media messages
